So, as much as you love Venom and his weapons it is best to push for allies instead. One exception is if your first hand you get a two out of three of his Hero Specific Weapons. Then it's best to try to get those out to help maintain the board in someway while you work on your allies.

Depending on the scenario, you want to try and get out either Yondu or Drax.

Yondu

• No consequential damage when attacking
• Can be very powerful with multiple upgrades
• Very expensive
• Has Ranged

Drax

• Very strong
• As you add the upgrades gets even stronger
• Can melt the villain if everything goes right
• Has high health to allow for multiple heavy swings
• Takes consequential damage meaning he'll go away eventually

Now I added Suit Up, Call for Backup, Regroup, and Rapid Response to easily grab allies and put into play as fast as we can.

As soon as you get Groot into your hand it is very wise to play him immediately because he will be able to take the brunt of the attacks for, hopefully, a good while.

As always Multi-Gun is a very valuable asset to put into play as soon as you can after the above is done. This can greatly help you handle the main scheme while the allies take down the villain.

Guardians of the Galaxy is another good asset to place out if you can. Your goal is to constantly put upgrades on allies and doing so will grant you a card.

Let's not forget some essential cards in the deck.

• Endurance will increase Venom's lifepool which will allow his Symbiotic Bond ability more valuable and useable.
• Locked and Loaded which I always found to be a useless card until I created this deck. This can pull the weapons out for the allies and also your own weapons when you're ready for them.
• Project Rebirth 2.0 will allow you for some quick/fast heals and maybe even an extra card if you play it right for even more use of the Symbiotic Bond ability.
