Inspired by I Got 2099 Problems by the stellar FootballCoach, I swapped several allies. Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly) can keep damage off Spider-Man 2099. Lady Spider can thwart the main and side schemes. Spider-Byte is lower cost with the Energy Shield on Spider-Man 2099.
Also traded Magic Attack for War Room and the Power of... doubles for the special "limit 1" resource cards in Adam Warlock's precon deck. Added Build Support to maybe get Web of Life and Destiny in play sooner and cheaper. If WoLaD is already in play, this can get any of the other higher cost supports likes Boot Camp or Knowhere.

Oct 09, 2025I did consider Reinforced Suit. You’d forfeit either Summoning Spell or Welcome Aboard, losing a way to reduce the cost of any ally in order to make one specific ally free. I’m not convinced that is worth it. Appreciate the comments, though. Perhaps adding a Plasma Pistol? |

This is a good idea. I was thinking, if you got some more tech out, you can make Spider-Byte free. Then you could combine Triskelion, Spider-Man 2099 and Peter Spider-Man (With Scarlet Spider damage sponging.) to play Spider-Byte 2 times a turn, activating 3, it would be impossible for the enemy to build threat, or you could make short work of escape scenarios.
