But recurring Spider-people ain't one. This deck is simple in concept: play out a team of strong and excellent Spider-people, then keep bouncing them back to your hand with Spider-Man 2099.

I Got 2099 Cards
To get set up, Adam Warlock needs cards. Luckily, he's got lots of ways to get them, and can end up with some of the largest hands in the game without flipping Alter-Ego. You need to prioritize card draw early, but you don't need ALL his card draw. Just one should be enough to gain tempo on the Villain.
- The Sorcerer Supreme increases his hand size in hero form by 1
- Web of Life and Destiny will draw cards when you're recurring Spider-people (or even when you're just blocking with them)
- 2x Mystic Senses will draw you 2 cards whenever you use Adam's Battlemage ability
- Symbiote Suit is just too good with Adam. It gives him another +1 hand size, and boost his health and stats. Boosted health makes Soul World more valuable when you flip down. For Adam Warlock, this card is always worth the extra encounter card.
I Got 2099 Solutions
If your Villain isn't stalwart, Recur Miles

Miles being abducted back to your hand by Spider-Man 2099
If you need extra thwarting, recur Pav

If minions need to be blocked to death, get Billy

Need Ping damage against Ultron's drones or tough statuses? Jess is your gal.

And when you're ready to close out the game, sending Hobie back to your hand, or to the discard pile to be recurred using Quantum Magic or Across the Spider-Verse can trigger his ability multiple times per turn.

I Got 2099 Lesser Combos
The rest of the deck is nice to have when you can get it out, but should be a second priority to card draw
- The Triskelion and Knowhere will increase the number of Spiders you can have on the board, increasing the power of some of their abilities, and keeping your options for control open
- Energy Shield on Spider-Man 2099 combos with the Karmic Staff , ensuring that you never have to bounce him back to your hand again.
- Under Surveillance is always nice to have that buffer in case you get bad encounter cards
- Boot Camp is fun if you can get it down, making your Spiders swing that much harder.
- The Power of Aggression, The Power of Justice, and The Power of Protection and "Welcome Aboard" count as doubles when you're playing/recurring the right Spiders.
- SP//dr can recur herself to your hand if you use her consequentials correctly, but I often used her as a blocker to get through the early game and get set up.
I Got 2099 Substitutions
Honorable Mentions include
- Team Training to get more uses out of the Spiders you aren't recurring
- Command Team to double-activate any of your Spiders
- Med Lab to store a Spider one turn and re-play it the next
- Inspired for Spider-Man 2099 since the goal with Energy Shield is to keep him in play indefinitely
- Ready for Action to give a Spider a tough, mostly Billy
- "Think Fast!" as a cheap confuse that Adam can use
- Otto can ready Karmic Staff (which is kinda like a discount)
- Silk can burn treacheries that you don't want coming out against you (looking at you Under Fire)
- When playing this multiplayer, you might drop Under Surveillance, but you'll need to replace it with another yellow card (maybe "Think Fast!"?)
- I'm sure there are more to consider, but it's hard to fit things in with Adam's unique deckbuilding rules. If you have grand thoughts, hit me in the comments below!
I Got 2099 more games to play with this deck
Hope you guys have as much fun with this as I'm having! There are so many interesting decisions to make each turn, it makes my brain buzz. Off to play another game now!
I'm a big fan of Adam Warlock. This is a super fun idea. getting to bring the web warriors in from all the aspects looks really fun!
