Alright Tigra is here and she has quickly rocketed up my rankings of most fun heroes to play. I have seen a lot of talk about wanting to keep minions out as long as possible to abuse her ability for drawing cards as well as powering her Amulet. I wanted to go a different route and strike a balance between having multiple minions out but also getting some payoff for defeating them.
Hitting it Big:
The idea here is that we continually pump minions into play with Hunted and Moon Knight utilizing the stuns/confuses they bring to neutralize the minions. This gives us free card draw at the start of the turn and make our amulet a gold mine. 10 or 11 card hands with access to a Triple Resource on board sound good?
How is this different from other decks that collect minions and leave them?
Kitty's got Claws:
Instead of attempting to have minions neutralized permanently, we are bringing along Change of Fortune and Unflappable which will provide 3 card draw for us when we defeat a minion during the villain phase and perfect defend. Tigra is a great candidate for perfect defense with base 3 and the new Defensive Conditioning pumps that to 4.
To power defeating minions we have a multitude of ways to do so with Excelsior being one of the best alongside Energy Barrier and Electrostatic Armor. This works really well as we can defend an attack from the villain and then deal the damage to a different target with Excelsior!
This is also not limited to once per phase so we can spend this each time we defend if we so choose to continue dealing damage.
Enhanced Reflexes provides the resource for Excelsior and doubles an extra resource if needed for Machine Man.
We also have Powerful Punch which is a really solid option to take out a minion when we are already exhausted and can really save you. With Hunted on a minion, you can be exhausted but use powerful punch to defeat them giving you a ready. It is also just another option for extra damage in the villain phase.
Lastly we have the under-used under control which deals 4 damage to the attached enemy when we take no damage defending. Most minions are going to be an easy perfect defend for Tigra even without upgrades.
To allow for all these defenses we have a couple copies of Indomitable, readies from Hunted and the new "I Can Do This All Day" which lets us declare ourselves as a defender without exhuasting.
In MP you should be able to defend for a teammate on a semi-regular basis if you cycle minions out, use Patriot's toughs to tank a hit and use Tigra's readies for multiple defenses.
Turns look like this pretty regularly, 4 minions in play. Defeat one drawing 3 cards from CoF and unflappable giving us an 8 card hand. Draw 3 at the start of the turn giving us 11 cards as well as a triple resource in her Amulet.
Tooth and Claw will provide a ton of damage for dirt cheap with all the minions in play.
Tigra's Underlings:
Machine Man is fantastic for Tigra since she has access to potential triple resource in the amulet and has really large hand sizes at times. Too many defense events? Dump em for MM.
Siryn helps keep minions stunned so we can take full advantage of CoF and not have to worry about being swarmed.
Patriot gets a tough everytime a minion enters play. Use this to help defend against hard hitting villains or if there are several minions in play that are not stunned.
Yellow Jacket is really solid with 2/2 stats but also lets you search the top 5 cards of your deck for an upgrade. With the amount of upgrades we have, this has yet to miss for me. Finding Hunted to generate more resources for the Amulet feels really good.
Med Team is here to keep our allies like Machine Man, Patriot and Siryn on board to continue carrying out the strategy.
Other Considerations:
"Come Get Me, Bub!" was in here but with all the card draw it really wasn't needed. Hunted and Moon Knight get seen plenty.
Professor X is really nice in solo games just to help out with thwarting.
Anticipation offers a free ready for you but it was cut in favor of I can do this all day.
Hangar Bay was in here for Patriot but i found myself not really utilizing it all that much and probably belongs in a different deck.
Iceman is another good option for stunning minions but I like Siryns 2 thwart to help Tigra out.
I have really enjoyed this deck and it has performed extremely well in testing. i would love to hear any feedback or experiences with it!
Shout out to @Corbintm for their assistance in the building process!

Oct 18, 2025I like it a lot! My first stab at Tigra is Protection as well. Siryn is in my deck as well. Thanks for waking me up to the new Patriot ally! I'd overlooked him. |

Oct 18, 2025Love this! Was RFaF considered so you could flip down to get a copy of Hunted then flip up in the villain phase? |

Oct 19, 2025Awesome take on Tigra! Going Change of Fortune and Unflappable instead of Pinned Down is a neat twist, giving her more ways to get card draw from minions. Also love the Stun Gun include, I’ve struggled to find a good home for it till now. |
Oct 19, 2025Great deck! I think that Iron Lad would be great in this. |

Love Change of Fortune with Tigra, that's an exciting build for her. And it's great to see a solid use case for Siryn finally!
