With 3 copies of Skilled InvestiGrootor, this tree is sure to Root out the Villain's Schemes with his rules for success:

1. Cheap events like Infiltration and Lay Down the Law are easy plays to fit while still putting down upgrades.
2. Getting both Heroic Intuition and Heroic Conditioning out let you thwart for 8 using your basics and 3 Growth counters once your upgrades are down.
3. Overwatch plus "I am Groot" can take a cool 20 threat if you time it right.

This deck doesn't reach the heights to contend with the likes of Red Skull and other super threat heavy scenarios, but it's a fun, alternative way to play Groot. Plus, if you don't like taking damage, this is the alien for you.
