Protectress of the Proletariat

This was my first attempt at a custom BW deck.

The goal here is to combine the reactionary cards from Protection with BW's preparation synergies.

Generally, as a lot of Protection decks seem to be, this deck wants to ramp. You can use Preparation cards to keep yourself alive, and to keep tempo, while you dig through the deck for your set-up cards. Black Widow seems to be a particularly poor deck. I did my best to keep out any expensive cards. Luke Cage's cost can be mitigated with The Power of Protection but Avengers Mansion and Helicarrier can feel tough to play, although typically worthwhile.

Natasha Romanoff's Mission Prep ability is fantastic and works really well with Safe House #29 and Black Widow's Gauntlets. Those are almost always must plays when you find them.

Once you're able to get Widow's resource game up she can become very close to unstoppable. One thing I found with this deck though is that it's very slow. There's relatively few ways to deal direct damage, although the versatile damage on Dance of Deathis amazing. The only way to thwart is Covert Ops and allies so be sure to try and play that every time you see it.

Overall I found the deck to be fun and viable for Expert Solo play. I'll be very interested in trying this in multiplayer.
