Star-Lord - Vigster Cardomatic Universe (VCU)

Note: I build all of my heroes so my decks are optimized only in the sense of the collection - hence the VCU tag. Welcome to the Vigster Cardomatic Universe!

The VCU Star-Lord is a Guardian leader with a focus on adoptees. 3 of his 5 deck allies are not Guardians, so he needs to work hard to introduce them to the brother and sisterhood. They are:

• Nova Prime - excels at taking out a minion then has huge ATK and THW power but non-Guardian
• Beta Ray Bill - minion power and strong ATK but non-Guardian
• Yondu - expensive and light on damage handling but can fight without incurring consequential damage (like Black Cat!)
• Gamora - solid girl power
• Adam Warlock - Interesting Mystic with random great power but non-Guardian

The first 3 allies can be played for free with WCGW and "Welcome Aboard". Then if any die (like via Last Stand) - they can be brought back via Rapid Response. Using Knowhere allows for 4 allies to be in play at once and C.I.T.T or Get Ready can allow any one to double the fight (which for Yondu fully armed is sweet), or they can allow a heavy hitting hero to help Star-Lord with Teamwork

Of course, the Guardian training plan is set and includes Comms Implants and Laser Blasters. He added Sidearm as an extra precaution. Laser blaster + Sidearm make Yondu a 3 ATK with ranged and overkill and no consequential damage making these a must for Yondu. The sidearm also can be used on Beta Ray Bill.

So - all this has been about the allies - Star-Lord also gets Booster Boots to help deal with damage handling.
