Rasputin IV is a relatively new addition to the casting of the X-men.
She is a creation of Mister Sinister combining the power of 5 mutants and can also use the Soul Sword.
Here is an attempt at making her a character for marvel champions.
Power 1 : Katherin Pride's Intangibility
Shadowcat's power are complicated to replicate unless you are building around Crisis Averted. So we are simply just playing Shadowcat as our main hero.
Power 2 : Piotr Rasputin's Steel Body
This one is easy. We play the Colossus ally and Invulnerability that happens to be a Superpower, great for Deft Focus. Does Shadowcat need tough cards ? No, this is a theme deck. Just enjoy being even more untouchable than you already are. And try to keep Colossus alive to use the team up.
Power 3 : Unus's force field
Ok this one is much easier to build in protection with Energy Barrier or Energy Shield. I guess you could play The Best Defense… but now that would be a waste with your phasing and your tough. Let me know if you have ideas. Shadow and Steel is the closest to a force field.
Power 4 : Laura Kinney's healing factor
Now that's a lot of defensive powers already. If you still manage somehow to lose HP, use Precision Strike or Moment of Triumph to heal. If you feel like moment of triumph never triggers for much, just replace with first aid.
Power 5 : Quentin Quire's Psychic powers
Use your psychic powers to confuse enemies with the Psylocke ally and the Professor X. They are also more themed options in protection with Karma and Moondragon.
Soul Sword
Just one shot a minion with the portals of the Magic ally. Godslayer is your soul sword.

Jul 25, 2023Thanks, honestly when I first got the idea I wanted to mix hero specific cars from Shadowcat, Colossus and Wolverine. And I guess that's fine for casual plays. But I thought that actually following the deck building rules would be more challenging as a deck builder. |
Pretty nice idea. I love a good theme deck. I love your idea for it instead of just making a fan-made copy of the hero. Developing the hero out of existing cards is a pretty fun idea.
