I prefer Leadership for my solo decks, and I definitely prefer Iron Man. This deck is built around a few fun, simple - and powerful - ideas.

  1. Take cheap Leadership allies to keep Tony in the game as he builds his suit.
  2. Mitigate Futurist's downside with cards like Lockjaw and Make the Call.
  3. Abuse Morale Boost with Arc Reactor for some ridiculous spike turns.

Okay, some more detail:

Morale Boost - My new favourite card, in the right circumstances. Most often used to have Iron Man thwart for 6 (in two useful 3-size chunks), it also has uses in spike damage turns, emergency damage mitigation and is not restricted to your hero. A frankly excellent card with a variety of use cases.

Recursion tricks - This is a side note in this deck, but it's always good to mitigate what weaknesses your builds have, if it can be done efficiently. Lockjaw is a solid card with it's own built-in recursion, and alongside Make the Call we can recycle allies to great effect. I recommend some Maria Hill and/or Squirrel Girl spam to taste.

A shoutout to Enhanced Awareness, which is the now the final part of Tony's complete suit, and that's about it for this deck. Iron Man is good, Leadership is good, cheap allies are good - it's just a strong, all-round powerful deck.
