I decided to revisit some heroes I haven't played in a long time to see if any newer cards would help them out. It turns out, Hawkeye has gained a massive upgrade to my previous Muster Courage build.

Warpath is a very interesting ally for Hawkeye. It allows playing Muster Courage in rounds where we didn't have one in hand during the hero phase. Coupled with Defensive Training, we can keep cycling this back into the deck and maintain almost permanent uptime on tough status after we have Hawkeye's Quiver stocked with arrows and the deck is thinner.

Sharpshooter helps boost every arrow attack as Hawkeye's Bow gives them all ranged and since they're all ranged Directed Force allows us to add even more damage for free. Not only does he keep tough going on everyone, but can also push some impressive damage while being in protection.

Build Support and Superpower Training help everyone rush out supports and upgrades. Establish Perimeter gives everyone an on demand tough.

Finally, What Doesn't Kill Me allows Hawkeye to ready up, heal some damage, and fire another arrow or go down to alter ego after a Sonic Arrow and recover for the times the villain gets through the tough spam.

Hawkeye was the first hero I remember being disappointed with, but he's now gotten some more support and is much more fun to play. If you haven't gotten him to the table recently, go ahead and give this build a try.

Had a similar idea today, gonna try this list out once I get NXE. I like to think tough for a hero like this would just be called dodge to fit thematically. Any suggestions for a replacement for What Doesn't Kill Me?
