Gamora seems like a pretty underrated user of Float Like a Butterfly and Upside the Head.

Normally I like to use my basic thwart a lot when the hero has a 2, but Gamora more than makes up for that with cheap thwart events and her hero ability to get a little free thwart off of attack events. Plus, the confuse will stop any errant copies of Advance, which is kind of like thwarting.

Status spam Gamora was already a deck I liked before Upside the Head and Float Like a Butterfly and those two are a pretty nice upgrade.

Like most Gamora decks, you're here to sling events. If you draw Keen Instincts, play it, but otherwise, you won't need much setup.

Down Time and Conditioning Room are nice to get the most out of your trips to Alter-Ego and, as always, Gamora's Sword is good to have, but too expensive to wanna pay for. Float Like a Butterfly is good to save for the second deck pass when you're ready to turn the corner and finish the villain off.

I play almost exclusively with my wife, so the second copy of Float can be removed if you play true solo. It can also be removed if 41 card decks give you headaches.

Survive by blocking with allies (Groot, stunning the villain, and throwing out Crosscounter whenever possible.

If you feel too squishy, try replacing Press the Advantage with Precision Strike.

I'm also considering removing one copy of "Think Fast!" to fit Helicarrier in here to make it easier to pay for the chunkier allies or to puke up more cheap events in one go. It also makes the kicker on Drop Kick easier to hit.

Can this deck be altered to beat Stalwart villains? Well yes, but actually no.

My wife was playing this deck while I played Nebula through the Mad Titan's Shadow. For Thanos, I swapped all the status cards out and you literally have to remove everything but Groot, Clear the Area, and Down Time.

Deck of Theseus, anyone?

This looks fun but what about the classic concussive blow?

@Nuggette Concussive Blow is a card I really like, but I've left it out here for cost reasons. The card is worth 4ER, but I want to spend my turns casting as many spells as possible.

Over the course of the game, Gamora's hero ability oughta be enough to make up for the lost damage.

Definitely wouldn't hurt the deck to find room for it, though.
