Bishop does not have psychic powers... but he has a lot of friends that do.

Leverage The Power of the Mind to play psionic allies and a couple other psionic cards like Stepford Cuckoos and Psimitar. Psimitar in particular is nice to get out early so you can start dealing damage with it, but it shouldn't be prioritized over Bishop's Rifle and Bishop's Uniform as they are WAY more important for the character to function.

Have fun playing!

Like the idea here bishop has no problems paying for all the allies and he likes the resource cards!

This looks super fun! You've got 9 allies here that have at least 2 THW as well, so you'll have no problem mowing down those side schemes and controlling threat. I'm glad to see his trusty K-9 made the cut too! I just can't run Bishop without him.

@D.M.Tip Yeah Lockjaw really does feel like an honorary signature ally for Bishop lol

Have you tought about Children of the atom and Uncanny x-Force for better thwarting, espexially with the Cbale ally. Youll need to dump the dog.

Fun deck! I might include Utopia with so many X-Men allies, but other than that I like what I see.

@less_than_vince @boomguy Your suggestions were definitely considered, and if they make the deck more enjoyable for you then go for it! That said there were a few reasons I chose not to add Uncanny/CoA/Utopia.

  1. In general, I find that Bishop functions better when he's got fewer pieces of essential kit to get out. His discard mechanic is fun to lean into and that requires accepting that there are some cards you might not see. I'm willing to accept that when it comes to Cerebro/Psimitar/Stepford as they fit the theme of the deck and don't require other cards be added/cut to function.
  2. On that note, both Utopia and Uncanny would require CoA to function, further decreasing their likelihood of coming online. Utopia I suppose could be done by cutting Cable and Caliban, but I think the deck is more fun with them here. You'd also have to cut Lockjaw to do either, and we'll get back to that. Don't get me wrong, they're both powerful cards, I just don't see them having a place within the theme/mechanical conceit of this deck.
  3. I like the dog.

That's a cool twist for Bishop. I'm definitely going to try this!
