"We will hurt them."
This deck aims to increase Ghost-Spider's basic ATK, attack multiple times during our turn, then defend during the villain phase and ready in preparation for the next player phase. It relies on playing events during both the player phase and villain phase in order to take maximum advantage of Dizzying Reflexes.
Symbiote Suit (can't be Gwenom without it...), Aggressive Conditioning, Combat Training, and Combat Specialist contribute a flat addition of +4 ATK. Savage Strike, Skilled Strike, Hand Cannon, and Warrior of the Great Web provide burst increases to ATK. Savage Strike and Skilled Strike trigger Dizzying Reflexes, allowing Ghost-Spider to ready after resolving them.
We use George Stacy to stash events to be used on demand. Pirouette and Punch and Web Binding are two of the best events available for this. Those events, in addition to Ghost Kick and Phantom Flip, are playable during the villain phase. This enables us to make a basic defense during the villain phase and then ready via Dizzying Reflexes.
Speaking of defense, a large pool of hit points is itself a form of defense. Symbiote Suit and Aggressive Conditioning give us 23 total hit points to work with.
There's a lot of card draw available here. Web-Bracelet triggers from our events, including Savage Strike and Skilled Strike. Combat Specialist triggers from a basic attack. Web of Life and Destiny draws a card after a WEB-WARRIOR ally leaves play. And of course we have Avengers Mansion and Nick Fury. We also get, in effect, an additional card draw with the +1 hand size from Symbiote Suit.
As with many WEB-WARRIOR decks, all of the allies here are meant to cycle into and out of play. Play them, use their abilities, push them until they're defeated by consequential damage, then activate Web of Life and Destiny (WoLD) and Warrior of the Great Web (WotGW).
- SP//dr is our most consistent way to trigger WoLD and WotGW.
- Spider-Man provides us another response to ready our identity. With WotGW attached to our identity, this also works in alter-ego form.
- Madame Web manipulates the encounter deck to help prevent troublesome villain phases. She also works well to set up a big exit for Hobie Brown.
- Otto Octavius has Web-Bracelets and Hand Cannons as targets for his response ability. He's an incredible value for us in a single turn: costs only 2 resources to play (1 with Helicarrier), attacks for 2, is defeated by consequential damage and triggers WoLD and WotGW.
- Nick Fury isn't a WEB-WARRIOR, but currently has my vote for best basic ally in the game.

Jan 31, 2026Yeah that was the other benefit to Gwen that I was pondering. She has so many cancellation options that I just never seem to take full advantage of. An additional encounter card could be covered pretty well I'm guessing. |
Cracking deck. I'm normally in the "Symbiote Suit is never a good idea" camp, but here I can see it being a mid-late game-changer. +1 hand size for Ticket to the Multiverse turn is enticing too. Nicely done.
