Mar 16, 2020I play a similar deck for Thor Justice. I have had a lot of success with it. I don' use Haymaker as Thor is a 3 ATK with Mjolnir anyway. I also dont play Enhanced reflexes as you have 2 God of Thunder already. I replace those 5 cards with another under surveillance - getting this early is key to allowing you a cushion for Threat. I added 2 concussive blows. These are great to be able to flip to alter ego as often as possible to get the extra card draw without worrying about the amount of Threat. The inclusion of 2 or 3 of these is very important imo. Flipping is a good option with Thor as it means you can use Mjolnir as a resource and then flip to get it back. Repeating this can give you an extra resource every couple of turns. I also put in 2 Surveillance teams. Not the most important cards and other options could be better. But it is low cost to be able to take off a threat if you have perhaps 2 on the main sheme and dont want to use For Justice. |
Tried this against no frills expert Klaw, and got absolutely walloped 0-3. If you don't see a hand size increase in your starting couple turns then you just fall behind, and Lightning Strike doesn't get you out of the hole because it doesn't do enough damage (3-4 isn't enough).
I'm leaning towards 2-3x Avengers Mansion because seeing it early changes almost everything. I thought Enhanced Reflexes would be great but its far too slow, so I think that would be my first change. Likewise if you use Nick Fury to draw cards then you just -2 yourself; I think Lockjaw is almost mandatory in this case, typically costing 4 cards not 5.
