Justice Like Lightning (CoH '26)

Quicksilver Justice goodness that I'll be packing for the Con. Designed for multiplayer. Nothing fancy, just does what it needs to do consistently and reliably.

• Mulligan for Friction Resistance, of course, but also Heroic Intuition / Heroic Conditioning/Hyper Perception. If you have one, don't keep mulligan-ing (hate to see 2-3 of these in your opening hand and be forced to use 2 to pay for the third). It would be nice to have all 4 on the table by the end of the first deck pass.
• Also, try to keep at least on ally on the table if you can. All 4 allies are Avengers, so this turns on Earth's Mightiest Heroes as a 1ER ready for Pietro
• Once set up, he has 4 thwarting, and can do this twice per turn, with 10 extra readies in the deck (usually have at least 2 re-ups per turn)
• 4x Always Be Running, 3x Earth's Mightiest Heroes and 3x Justice Served are all cheap ways to stand Quicksilver up.
• 3x Overwatch can multiply his thwarting around to other schemes. Combine with Making an Entrance if you can to thwart for 12 (6+6) and maybe heal at the same time.
• flex any extra thwarting you have into player side schemes to accelerate your friends! Bring 3 extra Avengers Mansion pr Helicarrier cards and pass them out before the game so that Evaluate Threat will make you popular. Specialized Training can grab you Surveillance Specialist to boost your thwart to 5 and add an extra card to your hand each turn.
• I play this exclusively in multiplayer (well, multi-handed solo), so other players deal most of the damage. Still, with Maximum Velocity and all these readies, Pietro can hit for 4 dmg multiple times per turn, pulling his weight.
• if playing in solo, I'd add Followed and/or Turn the Tide for tempo damage. I'd also pick Combat Specialist or Defense Specialist to round out Justice-Pietro's weaknesses if playing solo (rather than leaning into his strengths)
