When I saw the new ally Blindspot I knew i wanted to build around him and immediately thought of a few heroes he could pair really well with. After some testing I realized Rouge is perfect for him having the ability to place Touched every turn!

Not so Blind Strategy:

This deck requires very little setup to get going and can even work without our main character Blindspot if you have unlucky draws.

The main cards for setup are Float Like a Butterfly to get something out of the continual confuses and whittle the bad guy down quicker.

Blindspot keeps the villain confused reliably which is fantastic for multi-player to allow us to get the extra damage during our turn and then let a teammate flip down worry free. Adding Honorary X-Men and Mission Training jumps him to 6 health and 3 thwart to also help deal with any threat that piles on.

Chamber is a confuse decks best friend as he provides reliable 3 attack to a confused enemy with Float out and takes no consequential.

X-Mansion is really nice to allow you to heal Blindspot in AE once honorary is on him.

Moira MacTaggert let's you get even more benefit from flipping down providing card draw.

Rogue's Jacket allows her to swing for 4 with Float out and can get readies from Utopia after playing an x-men ally.

The gameplay looks like this:

-Have Blindspot thwart confusing the villain with touched attached.

-Chamber attacks for 3 taking no consequential.

-Rogue attacks for 4 with her jacket on.

-Cypher attacks for 2 and draws you a card.

-Play an ally potentially for more damage and ready Rogue for a second attack.

-Flip down to heal Blindspot or Rogue with X-Mansion

-Next turn heal again as well as have a 7 card hand from Moira on the flip down.

Contingency Plans:

While Blindspot is the main event of the deck we have a multitude of other ways to confuse with Goin' Rogue, Sonic Rifle and Professor X.

Not only do these offer other options for confuses but they also make even steady villains relatively easy to confuse reliably.

Allies like Marrow, Beak and Forge provide crazy value with Float. 2 cost allies bringing go when enter abilities and adding stronger ping damage!

Bishop is so slept on as an ally and I will continue to campaign for him. Use him in conjunction with Bulletproof Belle to take no damage from the attack but generate a counter for him. Float will increase his damage output a little more as well.

Chance Encounter helps us find our main guys Blindspot and Chamber but later game we can continually cycle our 2 cost allies for repeated damage and readies from Utopia.

I have been testing this deck since Blindspot was first announced and I have really been enjoying it. I'd love to hear any feedback or experiences with it!

Other Considerations:

Dazzler for more confuse but was cut in favor of cheaper allies.

Game Time to get more readies from our allies but were cut in favor of supports to keep them on board.

Status lock is so back, sugah! Tony said they are moving away from giving villains printed stalwart and we have been getting more of these control cards lately.

I'm gonna have to try this deck when I get a chance, and btw, I'm cookin up somethin similar with these new cards too... Hint: its for a hero we both love ;)
