Always be Ronin

Always be Ronin

I don't claim that this is an original idea on my part! I sat across from Scott of the Marvel Chumpions Podcast while he played a version of this deck at our local game store (plus I'm pretty sure "Always be Ronin" has been used as a deck name).

That said, it's a pretty straight forward deck:

• Buff your DEF with:
  • Maximum Velocity
  • Accelerated Reflex
  • Armored Vest
  • Defense Specialist (via Specialized Training)
  • Defensive Conditioning
  • Innate Reflexes
  • Ronin
  • The Best Offense...
• While The Best Offense... is in play you're Attacking or Thwarting for as much as 9, Readying for free, and doing it again.
• Ready some more with:
  • 4X Always Be Running
  • 3X Army of One
  • 3X What Doesn't Kill Me
• Playing In Harm's Way deals damage and removes threat based on your DEF as well!
• Defend every turn because you always get a free ready (and add a counter to Angel's Aerie), and once your DEF is built up you won't be taking any damage from the villain.
