A Mayor's Great Responsibility

One of my last minute MCDC decks, this one proved to be a lot of fun.

This deck follows your typical Luke playstyle, build up toughs and use them to fuel your cards while avoiding damage. Along the way however, you are managing threat with Jessica Jones, "Stand with Me!", Crisis Averted, For Justice! and Counterintelligence.

A special trick you have up your sleeve is to use Great Responsibility to cancel turn all the threat from a thwart into damage and then trade it all for a tough and 1 unpreventable damage. This can also be paired with Swift Retribution.

You can also pick up some damage with Swift Retribution, Command Center and Entrapment along with Luke's hero cards and activations. Although maybe not fast enough for this deck to work solo. I've only played it in multiplayer.

First Aid is here to keep Jessica around or help out teammates. Luke will rarely need it himself.

At the start of the game, get Burstein Process into play and start building up toughs so that you can get the most out of Jessica and your hero cards. Counterintelligence will help manage threat so that you can save Great Responsibility for the big threat totals.
