Quicksilver - Aggression

About me:

Got all the german released packs - still missing cards to enhance my deckbuilding. In addition iam not a pro-deckbuilder or anything. Trying to make my own thoughts and combo around, experimenting with ideas and card-combinations. I think deckbuilding is one half of the fun part here and i can take hours just thinking around. :)

Preface:

It's a Cheetah... It's a Train... It's Quicksilver...?

First Quicksilver-Deck. Came up with an idea to pump up Quicksilvers damage in addition to his double turns. The only thing iam currently missing is card draw, so i might swap one card with Avengers Mansion. Quicksilvers Alter Ego does also have a cool option to get through your deck and you could always Mulligan in beginning. I picked this deck against "Green Goblin Risky Business (RB)" and the card draw wasnt a big issue > didnt even need to use the alter ego skill. Note: Still need to test this deck more often to find any more problems.

Deck Idea:

Basically get prepared by equipping as many upgrades as possible, together with Helicarrier and Enhanced Physique and then burst into combat with some very strong turns.

Example Risky Business: In second phase i did 13 damage in one round (inlcuding 2 infamy) and 7 damage in the second round, which ended in a win. Wasnt even the full potential. Had one more card to deal 3 more damage and i was missing "Enhanced Physique" to pump up "Jarnborns" dmg even more. So still missing 5-7 more damage.

Card Clarifications:

Allys:

Spider-Girl helps for a quick rest inbetween. Very cool against "RB" as she basically stops both sides from acting in one turn.

Spider-Man can help you do get off that threat or if it doesnt matter help you deal even more damage.

Ironheart is another low cost pick to enhance card draw a bit.

Scarlet Witch is the expensive one here. As the deck uses a lot of upgrades i didnt want to include any other expensive allys.

Events:

Chase Them Down would help me to possibly get rid of some threat after killing henchmen. I was about to include Emergency but did like this one more. There are not many options for solo aggression here.

Mean Swing Awesome Combo with Jarnbjorn, besides that easy usable to pay for other cards in beginning. 3 extra Damage is a lot and even if you exhausted Jarnbjorn afterwards, you could use a second Mean Swing to activate Jarnbjorns ability after a second attack by discarding it.

Skilled Strike; More damage! Cheap and combos with Jarnbjorn.

Uppercut Finally some big card, to deal a huge amount of damage. Preferably paid with The Power of Aggression.

Support

Helicarrier one of the support cards i really like and always consider to include.

Possibly add in an Avengers Mansion though it is pretty expensive and needs to be played early on. Later in the game it will be dead weight.

Upgrades:

Combat Training + Reinforced Sinew turn him into a battle machine!

Jarnbjorn is one of the core cards of this deck and functions together with Mean Swing and any card that has a physical ressource icon.

Enhanced Physique some extra ressources and a potential Jarnbjorn trigger.

Down Time I included this one to compensate the low HP and minimize the time being in Alter Ego.

Conclusion

I think the only other option, for pumping up Quicksilver, is in a Leadership deck. I saw a few cards that add to the heroes basic stats. On the other hand most of the rest leadership cards are pur ally related and i wasnt going to build around that. That is why i decided to go with aggression and it worked pretty well for my first Quicksilver-Deck.
