(I've completed Mutant Genesis solo on Expert with variations of this deck. Turns out constantly recurring Steel Fist with Aspiring Artist is quite strong! The confuses and Armor Up are essential for Colossus who really is much better when he can flip to get Tough and draw more cards.)

Synopsis:

  • Use Steel Fist to Stun/Confuse to keep your Tough and be able to flip when you lose it. You'll actually want to flip often with this build.

  • When you can't stun with Steel Fist, you can stun with Drop Kick. You'll be able to get the kicker pretty easily with Titanium Muscles providing x2.

  • When you actually do get attacked despite all the stun, you usually won't chump and take the hit because you have Tough. This allows you to keep your allies on the board and use Attack Training.

  • You'll need to often use these allies to thwart, especially until you get Iron Will. Attack Training's added HPs really helps you keep your allies on the board to keep thwarting.

Cards/Combos:

Stun/Confuse/Tough:

  • I think this deck will change over time, for example there is a certain Aggression ally that will come out soon that has been spoiled that I would add when she comes out -> https://hallofheroeslcg.com/logan-wolverine/#jp-carousel-16200.

  • Drop Kick/Professor X – I know there’s bound to be some questioning of these cards due to the Steady/Stalwart in Mutant Genesis. But I feel that it's quite overblown as much of it can be removed and often you almost have to have status effects in some scenarios. With the on Titanium Muscles, Martial Prowess and The X-Jet it's easy to get the kicker. Mutant Genesis also has minions with a lot of hit points that now offer good targets for when the villain does happen to have immunity.

  • Another thing you might notice is that Mutant Genesis has a lot of Tough! Therefore when you go up against Master Mold for example, you can always use Piercing Strike to help with all the Tough.

I tested on the first scenario of the new expansion, it was so fast that I wonder if I haven't made a mistake or if the deck is ultra strong :D

Same- I just chewed through Sabretooth in just a few turns. I just ignored everything else lol

I see this is for solo play. What changes would you make for multiplayer?

This deck is really going to come online when Wolverine's cards are available. Psylocke's 2 TWH and confuse is great. Also Fastball Special is super good.

@Durand Totally agree, Fastball Special might be the best Team Up card there is. Psylocke is amazing for Aggression with being able to stun and really helpful for MG.

I tried it in MP and it was very hard to manage the twarting when multiple side scheme came out.
