Introduction

This deck leverages the powerful Sidekick card and a myriad of ally upgrades to supercharge Quicksilver, turning him into a relentless damage-dealing force. By utilizing Scarlet Witch's insane card draw with Quicksilver's incredible speed, you'll lead an unstoppable team that can swiftly destroy any villain.

This deck was tested against Expert Rhino. Even with Rhino and Luminous (nemesis) working together, they never stood a chance!

Doesn’t seem fair

Note: Vision is mostly in this deck for thematic purposes. If you wanted a more optimal deck, you could swap him for a copy of Sidearm to increase Quicksilver's damage each round of the late game combo by 1, but thematically I do not like the idea of Quicksilver using a gun.

Playing the Deck

The Mulligan

Mulligan hard for Suit Up. Once you have this card, next prioritize the following cards in this order:

  1. Agatha Harkness
  2. Helicarrier
  3. The Sorcerer Supreme

Early Game

  • Suit Up to search for Quicksilver and Sidekick.
  • Agatha Harkness will allow you to both draw an additional card and hopefully filter out unnecessary cards. When combined with Wanda Maximoff's ability while Quicksilver is out, you can draw an additional 2 cards each turn for free.
  • Helicarrier provides the obvious benefit of one less resource required each turn.
  • The Sorcerer Supreme negates the drawback of a smaller hand size in hero form but is not critical.

Mid Game

If Quicksilver is already in play, you can still use Suit Up to search for an ally and an attachment. The attachment doesn't have to played on the ally you searched for - it can be attached to Quicksilver.

Assuming Sidekick is already out, search for upgrades in this order of priority:

  1. Inspired
  2. Power Gloves
  3. Reinforced Suit
  4. Sky Cycle

For the additional allies, play them in this order of priority for the purpose of card draw:

  1. Maria Hill
  2. Kaluu
  3. Black Panther
  4. Nick Fury
  5. Vision

While very dependent on luck, it is possible to play Summoning Spell to summon Black Panther to then immediately salvage Summoning Spell and play it again to summon Nick Fury, and then use his forced response to draw an additional 3 cards. Even if you are not lucky, getting any of the 4 cost allies for the resource cost of 2 is still very useful.

If for whatever reason one of the copies of Side-by-Side is in your discard pile, salvage that instead and save it for the late game combo.

Late Game

Once setup, just from Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch alone, you can do massive amounts of damage. On the optimal turn, assuming all ally attachments have been played on Quicksilver and he has 6+ HP, with all 3 copies of Side-by-Side in hand and sufficient resources, you can:

  1. Exhaust Scarlet Witch and attack for 1 damage;
  2. Exhaust Quicksilver and attack for 3 damage + 1 from Power Gloves;
  3. Play Side-by-Side to ready both characters and give them +1 ATK and +1 THW;
  4. Exhaust Scarlet Witch and attack for 2 damage;
  5. Exhaust Quicksilver and attack for 4 damage + 1 from Power Gloves;
  6. Play Side-by-Side to ready both characters and give them another +1 ATK and +1 THW;
  7. Exhaust Scarlet Witch and attack for 3 damage;
  8. Exhaust Quicksilver and attack for 5 damage + 1 from Power Gloves;
  9. Play Side-by-Side to ready both characters and give them yet another +1 ATK and +1 THW;
  10. Exhaust Scarlet Witch and attack for 4 damage;
  11. Exhaust Quicksilver and attack for 6 damage + 1 from Power Gloves;
  12. Use Quicksilver's action to ready him;
  13. Exhaust Quicksilver and attack for 6 damage + 1 from Power Gloves;
  14. Exhaust Sky Cycle to ready Quicksilver;
  15. Exhaust Quicksilver and attack for 6 damage + 1 from Power Gloves;

This totals to 46 damage in one turn! Even if you do not have enough HP on Quicksilver to withstand the full 6 consequential damage from the combo, you can still use the additional readies on Scarlet Witch from Side-by-Side in alter-ego form to recover, healing Quicksilver in the process and allowing you to still maximize on the combo.

Quicksilver running into battle

Conclusion

Playing this deck is a blast! With quick silver activating many times in one turn and boosted by Scarlet Witch’s mystical enhancements, it truly feels as though sibling duo are running circles around the villain.
