Authorities, the Law ...and a Gamma Powerhouse
The continually underrated She-Hulk was worth a visit and so I wanted to put my stamp on what makes her so good! Trying to stay on theme, I've got a Justice deck which has Jennifer Walters calling in all favours from both her heroic persona, as well as her alter-ego connections as a lawyer from those in law enforcement.
Don't Underestimate the Law
We all know She-Hulk likes flipping down to make use of her Alter-Ego (AE) Interrupt, " I Object!". If you can get Superhuman Law Division down early, then you are already covered for 3 threat in AE form. I've included a full set of Foiled! too...which basically means the villain will only scheme with their base SCH stat (usually 3 at most...not enough to flip a main scheme!)...and if that weren't enough, three copies of Beat Cop (of which you may play by using Meditation) adds the icing on the Law enforcement cake..
If you have Superhuman Law Division and at least one copy of Beat Cop down, you can be confident in flipping down when you need to (don't forget you have allies that thwart well too!)
Calling on Superheroes, Investigators & Spies
It's not out of the realm of possibility that someone in Jennifer Walters' position would have a foot both in the superhero world and that of authority. Calling in her signature ally Hellcat as well as the likes of Daredevil, show Jen's ties with costumed crusaders whilst her ability to phone in Agent Coulson, Nick Fury also allow her great assistance in thwarting, card draw and an option to play either Counterintelligence or Spycraft...dependent on what you prefer for your current situation... Jessica Jones adds a versatile mix with her ability to thwart BIG (dependent on side schemes)...and that's fitting too as she falls somewhere in between a fully fledged hero, and a law enforcer.
Control Your Power
Jennifer is a Gamma based Powerhouse and she has been prone to losing control, similar to her cousin the Hulk. In order to do good, she must exercise control and calm and what better way to reflect this than the Meditation card. Use Meditation during the many times you are in AE to pay for big engines such as Helicarrier, Avengers Mansion, Quincarrier or Focused Rage to enhance your board to make your cards hum...!
The Finishing Touches
Finally, I've included a copy of Honorary Avenger in the mix primarily to allow you to use Quincarrier in AE form and especially for Superhuman Law Division.. Lastly, it's not essential, but why not make She-Hulk even more powerful? Endurance gives Jen just that bit more health in order for her to defend if needed, and to use her Focused Rage consistently. With these cards, it rounds out an amazing Justice hero in true solo...one capable of complete control of the game state in Alter-Ego form...when the time is right, She-Hulk has more than enough in her kit to deal the damage that her thwarting has set up!
