Role: Pacifist (i.e., thwarter)
Player Count: 4 (ideally)

Only goal of this deck is to remove as much threat as possible each turn and that's it! Leave attacking and damage to other players. Vision is one of the few with access to the form flipping events like Lay Down the Law AND aerial events like Yaw and Roll. Angel can too, but his kit generally wants to focus on Aerial traited events specifically. Vision isn't as "restricted".

There are 13 native thwart events. 5 upgrades are essentially second copies of thwart events (Overwatch and Density Control). Reboot's main purpose is to ready an Android character to remove more threat, so there's three more copies of something that can remove 3 threat (Vivian when Vision is in Intangible form or Vision himself with Heroic Intuition). The total comes to 21 "events"/cards that can remove threat! This doesn't include the assumption that each basic activation from Vision would be thwarting too. 50% of the cards in the deck help directly remove threat. That's the gameplan; no attacking here.

*Allies are included for chump blocking to help stay alive and all the extra stuff they can do of course.

Sideboard: For lower player counts, swap Even the Odds with something like For Justice!

Looking forward to you taking care of things so I don’t have to

This looks super dense solid! I love the idea of just leaning into thwarting to ignore the attack and defense restriction.

But quoting Isaiah? That’s a better fit for a perfect defense deck. Because no one is getting through that. ;)

@Astrodar the book of Isaiah is dense

@josseroo That’s the plan! If required of course. I feel like most times it doesn’t need to be this focused and collectively all players can handle it, but some scenarios definitely warrant it.

@Astrodar I’ve always been a sucker for justice with him. So versatile. And yes… Isaiah can be a doozy. I definitely thought about perfect defense with the phrase! I may have to come up with a related green deck now
