Energy of Life and Destiny

A new repurpose/readying/web-warrior deck for SP//dr leveraging the S.H.I.E.L.D cycle.

This is the new S*%#:

Madame Web - This will allow you to look at the top of the encounter deck to see if can safely flip down or not. In the early game, this is important to dig for interface upgrades. In the late game, it will expand your handsize to give you more things to spend your resources on.

Spider-Byte - SP//dr already had a lot of tech, but we've added Energy Barriers and Energy Shields. You'll likely be able to play this for free from the mid-game on. Even in the early game, she's worth 2 resources for 2 thwart and a block... maybe a card back through Web of Life and Destiny.

Scarlet Spider - This card is mainly to keep Spider-Man alive to keep giving you an additional ready. SP//dr already has a relatively easy time getting Peter Parker in play, it's nice when Ben can keep him there. That said, depending on how the game is going, he's still worth putting out to give extra thwarting longevity to Julia or Margo.

Energy Shield - This has three main targets: Spider-Man, Scarlet Spider, or VEN#m. It can still be worth putting on Julia or Margo if you're in need of thwarting. It's also really nice to have in play to potentially discard to Caught Off Guard.

Ready for a Fight - The best new Protection card! SP//dr really needs cards when you have your economy setup and All Systems Go!, This will help you get them. Alternatively, if you tanked a few hits and need to heal, this is good for that as well. Just be sure to not exhaust Peni Parker when you plan on flipping down so you can heal or exhaust for 2 cards.

Normally, Speed-Metal Alloy is not always my first choice as an upgrade to get Peni. That said, this allows you to defend for 4 and have your allies do things to help you out. You'll likely be able to ready via Host Spider, Spider-Man, Limitless Stamina, or Repurpose. Speed-Metal Alloy is also the cheapest of the interface upgrades which will be helpful for you to play your cards.
