Diversity Day at the Office

Flash Thompson has said one too many rude comments at work and will now be sitting through diversity training. Don't worry though, the whole office will be stronger because of it.

With the new Strength in Diversity card, I wanted to see if I could maximize its usage (as I am sure many others feel the same). From the options that we had among heroes with multiple types, I chose Venom for a few reasons:

• Venom gives us access to cards like Knowhere (in here for the increased ally limit, feel free to cut it if not worth it in your mind) and "Welcome Aboard", along with making Mission Leader better.
• There is a lack of good guardian allies in either basic or leadership that can be played in non-guardian decks. To get the guardian type then without having to run a bad ally in the deck means a guardian hero is our best bet.
• No other card in the game has Space Knight as a type.
• Nick Fury is the only hero with 3 types printed on the card. But since there are several good SHIELD/Spy allies, it seems better to just include one of those.
• Venom helps us to play our allies with his symbiotic bond ability.
• Symbiotic Bond can activate once per phase, allowing you to use Slingshot for defense from your hand, or pay for Grant Ward when a treachery is revealed without ditching another card

When fully operational, Strength in Diversity can give you 14 damage/threat removal spread as you like for 3 effective resources (in solo).

In multiplayer (or even in solo if you don't mind playing more than 40 cards), include Maria Hill and Mission Leader

To make multiplayer worth the cost, we'll need to make sure those decks are tailored to include extra traits. Here are some good options (This is by no means exhaustive):

• Spider-Ham
• Nick Fury
• Deadpool

Aggression Allies:

• Hulk
• Brawn
• Marvel Boy

Justice Allies:

• Daredevil/Jessica Jones
• Misty Knight

Leadership Allies:

• Aero
• New Recruits (allies give the "new" trait),

Protection Allies:

• Iron Fist

Basic:

• Deadpool
• Gambit
• Children of the Atom

Pool Allies:

• Bob, Agent of Hydra
• Headpool
