Well now, having only just spotted you can have allies from any aspect, this got the ol' brain box working...

Blasty-blasty, angry Mr Summers then - he likes and upgrade, doesn't he? But he's feeling generous, so he's handing them out like toffees where he and his friends will punch anyone who's had the damn temerity to actually take one.

The absolute cheek of it.

As well as his own Exploit Weakness, Practiced Defense and Priority Target, I thought I would throw in Suppressing Fire as well, just as an option to keep us healthy. With this plus Combat Training and Endurance, must be the lowest number of I've ever built in a deck.

Have I gone overboard on the Supports? Maybe. You could probably drop one or two and bring this closer to a 40 card deck (I KNOW, RIGHT?!), but Team-Building Exercise, Helicarrier, The X-Jet and this number of allies, Utopia all feel useful. If we're going to drop down to AE with some regularity, then X-Mansion looks useful as well.

And talking about AE, Mutant Education and X-Men Instruction may prove useful for getting some blasty-blasty back in your hand, or upgrades, whatever you need really. The remaining event make sense thematically here; Surprise Move gives you a readying option.

Finally, the allies and I'll save the best for last. Triageis in for heals, Shark-Girl and Glob for the thematics and Professor X for some handy thwarting.

Now, the good stuff. A long-shot? Absolutely. But if it was to ever come off. Here goes:

Now, use her ability to take Wolverine's attack - he heals the 1 damage every round.

She's now attacking for 7 every round with 5HP. And when she's gone, you've got 3 rounds of 4 ATK from Wolverine.

For a cost of 10, you've done 44 damage. Blimey.

Even without the upgrades, you're getting 29 damage for 8 cost.

That's pretty damn handy.

So yeah, there it is. Will it work? Oh, probably not, but I'll pray for the day it does and laugh maniacally like I've gone from babyface to pure heel.
