Inspired by a Facebook post about Honorary X-Men and Utopia, this is a multiplayer-focused deck meant to support other players at the table by giving them the X-Men trait to benefit from various X-Men supports/synergies.
Went with Cyclops since he can include X-Men from any aspects, allowing for more choices to trigger Utopia. With Field Commander out you may have to hold off on your card plays and strategize with the other players (not thematic at ALL...).
You may want to adjust the number of Honorary X-Men depending on the player count, and 1 copy of Suit Up is there to tutor it in case the shuffle didn't work in your favor.
The ready from Utopia can help heroes who want to ready a lot, and you have 3 ways to trigger this out of turn -- "To Me, My X-Men!", Make the Call and Team-Building Exercise. You can also ready with Professor X if Utopia has already been exhausted.
You can provide healing via X-Mansion (you or another mutant teammate would have to trigger it) and Triage, or readying your teammate while in alter-ego to do a basic/double recovery.
Nightcrawler can provide damage prevention, and Polaris can give out a Tough. Colossus can block, but you might want to swap him out for Angel against villains that don't hit as hard or scenario's with lots of minions.
For resource support, you have The X-Jet and new kid on the block Resource Reserve to funnel resources to your teammates. Resource Reserve would probably work better for someone like Bishop -- we will have to settle with stashing doubles and keeping Organizational Support for ourselves. Hopefully the discount from Uncanny X-Men will be enough for your setup, as well as cheating in allies via "To Me, My X-Men!".
Testing will be needed to see if 8 allies is enough, along with 2 copies of X-Men Instruction to recycle them. The deck is already at 45 cards so Cerebro got dropped in the first draft, as well as high cost allies like Wolverine and Psylocke.
Would love any feedback on this (especially if you pair this with Hulk, I would PAY to see that).
