Ms Marvel

The deck is fairly straight forward. We Cameo Kamala Khan, then get Reinforced Suit on her and she recurs Repulsor Blast. Almost every other card added to the deck is an energy resource. Ideally, on your second trip through the deck, you'll be blasting away 11+ point repulsors. Strong focus on deck thinning so we can up the odds of the illusive 13 damage blast. We don't bother with Sidekick because if you've used her 5 times, you've blasted between 6 and 10 times. The villain should be dead by now. If not, the deck is thin enough, and your hand size big enough, to get Khan back and replay her quickly.

But what else is the deck doing besides setting up Khan? Well early game we Quinjet when we have the bandwidth so late game we can flood the zone with powerful allies once Tony is set up. Nothing better than a Quinjet White Tiger in phase 3 to put you at 10 cards.

Plasma Pistol and Reinforced Suit are our additional tech to help us get set up quickly. Don't hesitate to put Reinforced Suit on other players' allies since you still control the tech.

There's no way to sugar coat it, Cameo dumping 2 cards from your opening hand is a BIG ask for Tony. There is a zero percent chance of flipping up first turn with this deck. So you may want to consider this a multiplayer-only deck that needs someone can carry that first turn. If you absolutely need the deck to move faster, add Organizational Support so the Quinjets are producing resources but, personally, I don't like how it pollutes the late game Repulsors. Is it an expert Ronan deck that covers all its bases? No. Is it a fun way to melt face? Hells yes.

The mid-game for this deck involves taking hits to the face and letting Endurance and Mark V Armor deal with it because once you get to the late game, allies will be in great supply to take hits.

The late game is obviously, well, brief. I've pulled turns of 5+ repulsors for total round damage over 70. When you're ready to unleash the wrath of Khan, the villain will melt like butter.

It's time to talk about the Mental Resource in the room. You might think Avengers Compound is holding an important ally for us if we can't afford them when drawn. But no, dear reader, I would not pollute the deck with a Mental Resource were it doing something so trivial. No, Avengers Compound has a very specific purpose. Perhaps the most unique and most hilarious purpose any deck has ever had for it. Iron Man has some non-energy resources in his kit, but most of them will get played to the table over time. One particular card, however, is so worthless as to never see play and it cycles through the deck, ruining Repulsor Blasts every. Single. Time.

That's right. Avenger's Compound's job in this deck is to tell James Rhodes to go tuck himself.

End of the Rhodes

This may seem like a waste of 2 effective resources, but consider that it also serves as a faux Front Organization and it both increases the efficiency of future Repulsors and their draw rate by cheaply thinning the deck. And, if circumstances dictate that you must use Avenger's Compound for its originally intended purpose early on, nothing's stopping you.

Now go, see the villain's do their best William Shatner impersonation! Music to the ears of a Gen X movie buff like Tony.
