Captain Marvel Max Support
This deck was built for multiplayer with many of the cards supporting other players:
- Hawkeye can shoot any minion that enters play
- Maria Hill draws everyone a card when she enters play
- Slingshot can be put into play under any player's control as an action, making her useful for knocking off a tough or defeating a Guard (or Patrol) minion so that the player you give her to can use their full force against the board
- Sunspot will usually deal 3 damage to the villain and the minions engaged with an enemy of your choice
- Make the Call can put Maria Hill back it play, but this deck uses it to put Beast back into play instead
- Call for Backup finds everyone an ally
- Avengers Mansion can draw someone a card (as can your alter-ego Commander Action)
- Helicarrier reduces a cost for another player
- Regroup lets anyone defend with an ally and get them back to hand (and is especially good here for returning Sunspot or White Tiger so you can play them from hand to get their Response)
- Resource Reserve "stores" an Energy Absorption for someone else to use
- The Circe lets someone put an expensive ally into play for free.
- Mission Leader draws everyone a card when a Side Scheme is defeated
But still GREAT in solo!
With all of that table support, this deck still plays really well in solo!
In this video I use the deck to speedrun the Rise of Red Skull campaign (Standard) quite effectively, with only a few minor changes from the deck as shown at the beginning of the video.
MAX?? Support?
There are some cards I've not included which would also be very supportive:
- Recruitment Drive
- Jarvis
- Evaluate Threat
- I'm sure I'm forgetting some too!
42 is my typical maximum for a deck, and I just didn't want to make room for these cards.
I might "sideboard" Jarvis and/or Evaluate Threat if a couple other players are running AVENGER heroes.
Draw for the win
This deck features a lot of card draw, but it's not just drawing for the sake of drawing. It's drawing to dig for the cards which either support the table or cards you want for damage or threat removal (often an ally in either of those cases).
