Overview

Luke Cage combines his Unbreakable Skin with the Healing Factor of The Force to become nearly invincible.

• Luke's tough engine hero cards and gaining toughs are still the top priority early.

• Jessica Jones will provide reliable thwarting in solo. Keep her healthy with First Aid and Unbreakable Bond.

• With Healing Factor covering 2 unpreventable damage every turn and toughs taking the villain attacks, Luke will often have full health and the 'Pool resources will be triple resources.

• Plot Convenience can store any of the 'Pool cards to pass them to other players (extra Healing Factor(s)) or played later. 'Pool Inspection and Da Bomb are especially good for storing as they are expensive and can be more useful at the right time.

• With triple resource cards, Luke is rich enough to even pay for Invulnerability occasionally if there's nothing better available or if a tough is desperately needed. At worst, this can still be used for the physical resource to pay for Stick-To-Itiveness.

• Laser Swords, Live Dangerously, and Stick-To-Itiveness can combine for a strong burst damage turn. If available, playing Da Bomb can get an extra ready with Fogwell's Gym.

• Lady Deadpool is nice for solo since the amplify icon doesn't matter in hero form when Luke has toughs to take boosted villain attacks, but the villain still gets boosted schemes so be careful of that. She can also get rid of Non-Elite minions when defeated to help protect Luke's toughs from minion damage. Kidpool can be a safer replacement for multiplayer.
