NOTE: Avenger's Tower should actually be Avenger's Mansion
This is a multiplayer deck designed for heavy thwarting in a 3-4 player game. It's pretty beginner friendly:
- Get out your 3 thwarting boosts (Heroic Conditioning Heroic Intuition, and Innate Perception).
- Use Ready to Rumble and Reboot to thwart multiple times with your increased thwart stat.
- Deploy your newly installed Grapnel Launchers for even more thwarting.
- If that's not enough, use Visions' plentiful thwarting events for even more threat control.
Once you are in the final push, you can start using Vision's attack events to support running down the villain. his flexibility makes pivoting easy-peasy.
A couple notes on strategy:
- Allies are really there for their thwarting and/or damage abilities. The deck is not designed for chump blocking, so survivability is about using Reboot for some healing pings and flipping down a bit. However, in a pinch, they can help you out with a block. You may have to explain to Wanda if you block with Speed however.
- I don't usually run One Way or Another in a 3-4 player game, but if you are careful about the target and timing, it can really help with Vision's card draw, which can be a little lacking. To this point, I think Avengers Mansion is more of a priority for me with him than when I play some like, say, Captain Marvel or Shuri.
- Density Control is a great card for hunting down a Phase Disruption when you need a confuse and/or want to get rid of a nasty attachment. I really undervalued this card in the past.
- The deck could likely benefit from a couple more side schemes, but I didn't want to increase the deck size. However, I think you could easily drop an ally or two if you wanted. Husk would be the first I'd cut, followed by Spider-Woman, because Vision needs his kids at his side! Also, one Ready to Rumble would be another possibility to cut.
