Testing this right now. I'm trying to build decks for Drax that works fine - outside of protection. And right now, gaming time is scarce so, here's the idea... updates later if it's worth it!

BASIC IDEA: HIGH ATK, LOW COST

The idea is to push Drax's attack to the limit and get rid of whatever's left of the villain's hp - otk is possible for a lot of villains but this is not Quicksilver. The deck also has an insanely low curve so the 4 hand size doesn't hurt as much - sometimes you even get to play all 4 cards in your hand (thx for free stuff and Knife Leap's built-in bonus).

With Combat Training, Drax's Knife, Adrenaline Rushs, Counterattack, citt in play, your odds are good at pulling off cool combos.

For example:

At 3 atk + 3 vengeance counters + 3 Adrenaline Rush, you've got 9 atk. Toe to Toe + Counterattack, citt or "Fight Me, Coward!" + Payback, Knife Leap + Mean Swing...

you get the picture, you can get crazy strong combos here.

SURVIVING

The REAL challenge is surviving to pull it off.. Multiplayer with a justice / protection partner will sure buy you time and make it easier for you to build your board, but the villain doubles its life, so forget anything that looks close to an OTK, altough you're going to hit hard every turn - eventually.

I usually play true solo, much more of a challenge. You have to maintain control over the main scheme with Looking for Trouble, stay alive using Moment of Triumph when you give a solid hit to a minion. Mantis helps a lot here, heal her with First Aid to benefit from her help longer - she's really, really incredible! (And it really, really sucks when she's at the bottom of your deck!)

As you build in ATK, Intimidation and Parry become incredibly powerful and contribute to your good health and control over the scheme. DWI Theet Mastery is amazing, especially when you get a few activations.

BUT YOU FORGOT (INSERT COOL CARD HERE)

Yes. I've struggled with a few ideas: Hand Cannon seems cool, but I'm sitting on a fence because it's restricted, as your knives. Brute Force could also be quite good against a villain that gets tough a lot - altough the retaliate from Drax's Other Knife takes care of that nicely.

You have to make 3 attacks in a turn to come out ahead on Adrenaline Rush. Battle Fury seems like a better way to lean into your minion destruction strategy. Angela would help you have more reliable targets for Moment of Triumph.
