Inspired by Team Covenant, this deck is designed to take on Rhino Heroic 3 Expert with Bomb Scare. This deck is designed to be paired with Doctor Strange (https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/1889/rhino-heroic-3-expert-doctor-strange-support-leadership-1.0), who plays a supporting Leadership role, utilizing cards like Get Ready and First Aid. The idea is to be able to make two Leadership decks with only one Core Set and one copy of each Hero pack, while still being able to take on a high-level of Heroic.

While Doctor Strange plays the cheaper cards and saves his resources for key Invocations in this matchup like Vapors of Valtorr and Seven Rings of Raggadorr, Captain Marvel here takes advantage of her card draw abilities and triple resource Energy Absorption to play the more expensive Avengers and a timely Avengers Assemble!. She is uniquely fit for this strategy also because Spider-Woman as her signature ally is an Avenger.

Quincarrier is perfect for her because of the possibility of playing it with an Energy Absorption and also because it can generate an energy resource to use for Captain Marvel’s Rechannel ability. Essentially, she can turn Quincarrier into a Hero-version of Steve's Apartment, except that it has more flexibility, since it can also power up Energy Channel, Photonic Blast, or be used as a wild resource to pay for any other cost.

The Triskelion is the most questionable card in this list. It can be swapped for Avengers Tower or a Quinjet. I have tried this deck with each of those three, but I found that none of them were essential. The reason I opted for The Triskelion over the others is because there have been times where Captain Marvel could afford to play or Make the Call for a fourth ally, which can lead to big turns with Lead from the Front. Avengers Tower is better with an all-Avengers strategy, but I found that Nick Fury was too useful to leave out. Even if you don’t end up playing The Triskelion, it still has an energy resource, so it’s not hurting the deck. I like having it as an option, if the game goes in that direction.
