This is a X-23 deck that only makes use of cards that cost a single resource or less (sometimes in roundabout methods). She has a cheap kit and we will use synergistic cards that are also cheap so we don't have to have too many doubles/resource generators. I do feel she would probably be more efficient with a Team Training instead of a Regroup, but I wanted to use the limitation of a single resource cost. So, make that change if you would like.

Cards that are "1-cost:"

-Ironheart: Actually 2-cost, but since you draw a card, we'll count that as 1-cost.

-Kaluu: Actually 2-cost, but since you will likely draw a card, we'll count that as 1-cost even if it's not 100% guarenteed.

-Maria Hill: Actually 2-cost, but since you draw a card, we'll count that as 1-cost.

-Nick Fury: Actually 4-cost, but you can draw 3 cards with him, we'll count that as 1-cost.

-Slingshot: Actually 3-cost, but since we can just use a single Energy resource to put her in play, we'll count her as 1-cost.

So, with all of these super cheap allies, we'll use them and then dispose of them. We can either chump block with the allies, use a Noble Sacrifice to get healing and a tough, or "You Got This!" for an additional ready. Your motivation on what to use them for will depend on your board state. If you have a Regroup in play, chump blocking is for the best. If you took some damage from X-23's Claws/Grim Resolve/Clarity of Purpose, Noble Sacrifice will be a good option. Noble Sacrifice is especially good with Grant Ward, Blade, and Slingshot. If you have played Claw Mastery and/or, used X-23's Claws, or really want to thwart Specialized Training, "You Got This!" will be really good for you.

You can recur your allies with Make the Call and Regroup. Make the Call is amazing with Grant Ward since he's free. When he's on his last health, you can attack/thwart for 2, Make the Call, attack/thwart for 2 again, then you can potentially Noble Sacrifice to heal 3 and get a tough. Incredible value. Speaking of Grant Ward, if you decide not to sacrifice him, there are a ton of ways to get mental resources to pay for him. Regroup is fantastic to get more than one ally recurred if there is a double attack activation or if you're playing multiplayer.

Other odds and ends: Specialized Training is a great card when combined with Front Line Specialist since you're using your health as a resource. Clarity of Purpose is just an alternative option to Grim Resolve. That's not to say you shouldn't have both in play, but will usually help you get at least one in play sooner and if you have tons of health, by all means, use both. Be careful about your sequencing of using Noble Sacrifice and triggering Grim Resolve/Clarity of Purpose. We have Reinforced Suit and Sidekick to help keep Honey Badger alive. Though, you do have other ways to recur her (Make the Call or Regroup). Reinforced Suit can alternatively be added to another ally if Honey Badger is not around you'd like to keep someone else around longer.

Other considerations:

-Ready for Action can be good to get more than one block from an ally, especially if the enemy will have overkill. Additionally, You can potentially use Ready for Action to put a tough on Honey Badger to get an extra activation out of her. Extra protection can be good when you're using your life as a resource.

-The Power of Leadership as a single copy could be good. While there technically are only 4 leadership cards that cost more than 1, it can be more per deck cycle with your ally recursion. That said, I often find myself recurring Grant Ward to put in work or Blade for a Noble Sacrifice. If you do decide to add Team Training, one copy of this would be even better.

-Face the Past can be good. All you need is a Claw mastery or a single ally with one attack and you can kill Lady Deathstrike. I think I opted against this due to the damage as she leaves. This could definitely be added in place of "You Got This!"

Now go Honey Badger on those villains and if you play it, let me know what you think.
