No doubt dat dis is definitely a Dynamic Duo deck.
But alliteration aside...how does it work?
Gettin warmed up
1) Utopia - Super important. Forge is there in case you had to pass on it first time.
2) Gambit's Guild Armor - Essentially allows you to leave a minion on the board, perfectly defend the Villain (with knowledge from Thief Extraordinaire), or nullify Belladonna's quickstrike.
3) Helicarrier OR The X-Jet OR Avengers Mansion - one is enough until you start playing Rogue for free.
4) Professor X/Creole Charmer - confusing the Villain is vital to letting you flip down to AE and use Thief Extraordinaire or recover our pathetic 9 HP.
Jus let her go
Don't worry about discarding Rogue in your opening hands (before you are at 4 charge counters). Trust me, she'll be back when you need her!
Same goes for Command Teams, Regroups, Dynamic Duos or any other events.
You can drain my energy any time, Chère. Gambit has plenty.
Once you get 4 charges on Gambit, the fun begins! First chance you get use one of your 6 doubles to pay for Dynamic Duo. Rogue comes in, readies Gambit with Utopia, attacks/thwarts a few times with Command Teams, blocks for you next turn.
Regroup puts her back in our hand for next turn OR Pixie grabs her from the discard pile OR we just play another Dynamic Duo! Now is when you want to start playing those Command Teams. And don't sleep on Beauty and the Thief - 3ER for 4 thwart and 4-7 damage? Yes please!
What else we got in here?
New Recruits is nice for when you have an extra double. Just thwart with Rogue and then play whoever the board state requires. Endurance gives some much needed breathing room. Beast is great with Molecular Acceleration and Colossus loves Command Team. Get Ready is a flex card and usually my first card removed. I would not remove any Command Teams though.
