This is my take on journeyman2's wonderful "Gwen Hits the Griddy".
I dropped both Plasma Pistol (I never once played them, between Energy Barrier and Web-Bracelet I already had enough targets for Repurpose).
I dropped all three True Grit (wasn't in Alter Ego much and didn't need the extra thwart since the villain wasn't scheming a lot). Also, to make True Grit effective, you need to use Repurpose, which just undermines your big end-game finishing move.
I dropped the Electrostatic Armor (didn't need the retaliate, and I wanted more go-faster cards).
I added two The Power of Protection to help with the 2+ cost Protection cards.
I added one The Night Nurse (just in case I got a stun at the wrong time).
Finally I added three more Web-Warrior & Protection Allies -- Silk and Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Spider-Man Noir.
The reason for the extra allies is that (a) I had been getting very poor value out of Web of Life and Destiny, (b) I wanted more targets for The Power of Protection especially once the Energy Barrier were already in play.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is great value, IMHO. You don't get his Stun/Confuse if you play him via Across the Spider-Verse, but if you have a The Power of Protection in hand, then he can give you a nice breathing-space to set-up or recover.
