Oh man have I had fun playing this deck!
Who is Lockjaw's new best friend? It's Bishop, that's who. With 8 double resource cards in this deck, and lots of Bishop hijinks to get them back into your deck and hand, you can cycle Lockjaw in and out of play with great regularity.
Things you are going to want to set up. Lockjaw either in your hand or in your discard (he's better in discard because he's not taking up a space a double resource card could be in). You also want Team Training and Command Team in play to get the most out of Lockjaw in a single turn. Then you either have Go Down Swinging or Save the Day in hand.
Play Lockjaw, using either two double resource cards or 1 double resource, Effective Leadership, and another card or Helicarrier. (the second option will bring Lockjaw at 3 ATK/3 THW. Using Command Team, you activate him twice, leaving him with 1 HP remaining thanks to Team Training. You can then use Go Down Swinging or Save the Day to get another 4 damage or threat removal). This nets up to 10 Atk or Thw, broken up into multiple chunks to cover multiple enemies or schemes.
Even if you can't get this perfect setup to happen, you can still get loads of mileage out of Lockjaw. Malcolm, Randall plus Command Team can pair with their card ability (or another Command Team) to get three activations in a single turn and then get used by Go Down Swinging or Save the Day.
White Fox is hanging around waiting to get discarded by Bishop's ability and is another good use of Go Down Swinging or Save the Day.
With 2 The Power in All of Us cards and lots of resources, Bishop should have no trouble getting Basic supports like Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, Moira MacTaggert, Stepford Cuckoos and X-Mansion for added utility.
If you want to go down to 40 cards, I would cut White Fox and Stepford Cuckoos.
If you want to make getting Command Team into play even easier, either swap out your Effective Leadership cards for The Power of Leadership, or just increase your deck size add those two The Power of Leadership cards in.
Smart deck! Since Bishop doesn't need to chump block, its a great use of allies. I've been using them to block for the other players at the table, but I like this idea a lot, for cards I rarely use.
Question though, why no Nick Fury? I find he's so easy to get with Bishop and is a great target for discarding.
