I always struggle with this hero. I've tried many decks on Marvel CDB and they never did the trick for me. I dislike two things about her hero deck: weak thwarting and a 4 card hand size. All we can do is work around those problems, which makes it feel like you are two steps behind.
The core idea of this deck is to overcome her hand size problem with card draw, without compromising thwarting.
This deck concentrates on certain strategies to make things happen:
-
She needs to draw
- She now has Cameo to make Amadeus Cho available.
- She can use Suit Up to find Honorary Avenger and eventually Sky Cycle to have the opportunity to draw twice per turn.
- She will also benefit from Avengers Mansion for another card draw every turn.
- White Tiger will sometimes help with drawing also.
-
Mighty Avengers makes it possible for your allies to thwart for you (and attack in the case of Deathcry but more on that later)
- Hawkeye helps by hurting the minions so we can protect our genius, Amadeus Cho
- Ronin will be your ally that will do what's needed: with Inspired and Mighty Avengers, he will have 5 ATK and 4 THW.
- White Tiger also helps with card draw and is a more interesting ally when you have Mighty Avengers.
- Yellow Jacket can get you those ally upgrades to make things more interesting.
- Stinger is another good ally, potentially free with the Tower and 2 ATK/2 THW with Mighty Avengers.
- Deathcry hits hard and her hero damage drawback ain't so bad for She-Hulk and her Gamma Slam. Also, once you have both Superhuman Strengths out, you can use Unified Strike to make Deathcry attack for 11 (Mighty Avengers included)
Other cards will be used to strengthen her gameplay
- Deft Focus will help pay for 5 cards.
- Avengers Tower gives you economy and ally limit boost, which is good in this case.
- Clarity of Purpose is a no brainer here, since she gets ressource for damage, which is good for Gamma Slam
- Reinforced Suit is there for Amadeus Cho's safety, and it can benefit Deathcry or Ronin on the long run.
- Jarvis took the place of Down Time, since it's cheaper and has more options.
You will need to defend for Amadeus Cho whenever there are minions that can survive your hero turn. If that is the case, don't be afraid to attack and sacrifice Superhuman Strength to stun: it's better to sacrifice those than Amadeus Cho.
