En-Wasp-ment: this is just your Ant-rapment deck again, isn't it?

The Entrapment Series so far:

  • Ant-rapment — ft. Ant-Man
  • En-Wasp-ment — ft. Wasp

This is a Wasp version of my recently posted Ant-rapment deck.
I intend to publish at least 1 other deck revolving around Entrapment in the coming days, so I guess this is now a series :p

The difference between Ant-Man and Wasp is small, so I'll simply highlight the differences, and copy-paste the similarities.

Overview :

  • Play Style : Entrapment every turn. Choose your form.
  • Fun: Medium-High (change form twice per round! But don't expect it to NOT be swingy at low player counts ;) ).
  • Difficulty : Low-Medium (easy game loop, but many effects).
  • Power level : Medium (stronger in multiplayer).
  • Recommended Player Count : 2 (see solo and 3-4p at the end).
  • Number of cards : 42 (4 removed from the game).

This deck has won against Expert Kang, Sabretooth, and a few others.

Concept :

Wasp likes to change form. Entrapment lets you change form more often. It even lets you choose which hero form you prefer at the moment it triggers. Easy as that.

This is mainly a 2+ player combo. It works fine solo too thanks to our safety nets, but solo is always more swingy (see "solo" at the end).

No Professor X+Cerebro combo here, for a change! :p

What differs from the Ant-rapment deck? :
With Wasp I added Lay the Trap, Waylay and Spider-Woman in order to deal damage a bit faster, to compensate the loss of Army of Ants. Remember that Entrapment does damage too!

Your deck can technically last you a long time if you reshuffle Entrapment, Lay Down the Law, and your 2 allies! Don't go much higher than 42 cards (4 cards can be removed from the game), to ease your first turn/mulligan though.

She heals less than Ant-Man, so we play Stealth Training just in case.

The En-Wasp-ment loop:

  • The villain schemes, you change to GIANT (or TINY sometimes) form deal damage with Entrapment, play Lay Down the Law with Sense of Justice, and remove 4 threat. Play your turn, then maybe go back to alter-ego, and reshuffle 2 of your many cards.
  • You usually want to go GIANT because it's almost strictly better in any ways. But TINY becomes better if you have Rapid Growth, Pym Particles and/or Pinpoint Strike in hand!
  • You don't have to end in alter-ego every turn, but it's what you should aim for most of the time.

How to play this deck:

Other cards to consider:

Anyway, enjoy, have fun,
and don't forget to drop a like/fav, it's always appreciated :)

@eroush Yeah I was surprised how well she works here, especially for a non- card!

@Lu_pin Thanks! :)
