The deck is relevant for rules 1.4 and earlier. With the new ruleset, Cosmo does not work the same way.

"Wong. Just Wong? Like Adele? Or Aristotle. Drake, Bono, Eminem…" - Dr. Steven Strange: Doctor Strange. And I would add "Cosmo. Just Cosmo? Like Wong?..."

Before we go through the deck and everyone starts to debate about how illegal is to play Cosmo + Invocation deck combo, please see below a question sent to FFG;

"Is Doctor Strange's Invocation deck a legal target for Cosmo's ability?"

Michael Boggs himself answered,

"Yes, Doctor Strange's Invocation deck (along with any non-villain or non-main scheme deck, such as Red Skull's side-scheme deck) is a legal target for Cosmo's ability.

Following up on this, Doctor Strange is simply broken...

The deck is a Stun/Confuse deathtrap for any Villain. Effortlessly going through any dangers.

Wosmo magic

You will want to have Wong and Cosmo on the board all the time. Treat them as permanent support cards.

With Wong, Cosmo and Stephen Strange's Natural Talent you have 3 ways to change the top card of the Invocation deck.

As a bonus, Wong can heal you in the cases where you don't need him to change the top card of the Invocation deck, and Cosmo will be chipping in with Tough removals, 1x Thwart or 1x damage (2x damage with Sidearm) every time you use it. Attacking Sidearm to Cosmo is important, as it will grant him Ranged, so the Retaliate keyword will be ignored for his attacks.

Med Team and The Night Nurse are in this deck to heal up Wong and Cosmo when needed, not Doctor Strange (unless really necessary).

Iron Fist is just chilling there to throw in the occasional stun and take a hit for you if needed.

The rest of the deck

Spiritual Meditation will provide you with more draw-power and Ever Vigilant and What Doesn't Kill Me will allow you to play multiple invocation cards while removing 2 threat or healing for 2 respectively.

Avengers Mansion combined with The Sorcerer Supreme and Symbiote Suit will make your hand size a permanent 8 regardless if you are in Hero or Alter-Ego form. And Protective Ward will take care of any treachery cards you draw, so the +1 encounter card cost for Symbiote Suit won't affect you as much (if at all).

Forcefield Generator is there to simply soak up damage for you, so you don't have to worry IF for some very Strange reason the Villain is not stunned in this round.

Very straightforward deck to play with a lot of everything you can ever wish for packed in it.
