"Heal an identity, and they'll be healthy for the round. Teach an identity to recover, and they'll be healthy for the rest of the game."
- Caleb Grace (probably)
OOH EEEE
While this deck offers tons of flexibility, the focus is on healing. Oh no, not that kind of healing. This is over-the-counter, take-it-at-home healing. Give your friends Down Time, Endurance, and Crew Quarters. Then keep them supplied with a daily dose of Ready to Rumble as needed. That lets them recover, then change to hero form ready to do their job.
OOH AH-AH
We do have some traditional healing in here as well. First Aid lets you target any character. Basic Spell lets you heal identities, plus it adds the flexibility to deal damage or clear threat if everyone is topped off. Finally, give your friends space for some Down Time by using Hex Bolt to confuse you enemies. Or keep them topped off by stunning your enemies and toughening up your friends. Don't forget, you also have Magic Shield. Yup! It's a playable card!
TING TANG
Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, Quincarrier, Deft Focus, and The Sorcerer Supreme all boost your economy so you can afford to heal your friends and do some work. Chaos Magic means I'll never leave Avengers Mansion home, but really you could cut a couple of these if you feel the deck is thick.
Speaking of thick, keep in mind that this is really a 42 card deck. Spiritual Meditation will help you dig through your deck to find the right answer at the right time. And, once you have 9 cards on your friends and 7 in front of yourself, your deck will feel thinner than ever.
WALLA WALLA BING BANG
Do you want to make it an aspect deck? Just toss in your favorite healing from any aspect. Protection has some particularly great options, but splash in whichever aspect you please.
Everyone needs a healer, so come find me at the con for some games! Just please... no apples.

Apr 28, 2025It pained me to cut them! I realized how few repeatable 2-cost cards I had to take targets, and out they came. Even I have a limit to how thick I’ll make a deck! |
Apr 29, 2025The sheer amount of Play Under Any Player’s control cards here is really fun for a 4 player game. Always feels good to gift a gift from your doctor! |
Leaning heavily into Basic = classic Astrodar. Great jokes = classic Astrodar. Zero copies of The Power in All of Us = who is this guy?
