This deck was built for Boomguy's Winning Hand Podcast Episode 71 (https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/winning-hand-a-marvel-champions-podcast/id1679458321?i=1000719623486) challenge to build a deck based around Rogue.

Remember the Crazy Glue commercials?

This deck revolves around attaching Rogue to Captain Marvel and never letting go.

Goal: Only use Rogue's powers on Captain Marvel. Use Captain Marvel's healing power and lots of energy resources to keep Rogue healthy and Captain Marvel healthy.

Rogue should steal the health from Captain Marvel, (alternatively, she can steal it from Spider-Woman (more set-up required).

Rogue will then have 4 Attack or 4 Thwart (later she'll have a 5 attack), that can be used multiple times during your turn, based on your cards.

Keep Rogue healthy with 1) Med Team 2) Game Time, and 3) Energy Shield You will have so many energy resources that you don't need (once you get a health upgrade on her) to worry about losing health.

Voltron Rogue with 1) Honorary Avenger 2) Protective Training and 3) Sidearm, making her attack for 5 each time.

Ready Rogue with: 1) Game Time; this is the easiest thing to do, as you not only heal 1 damage from Rogue, but you ready. 2) Use Earth's Mightiest Heroes to ready Rogue by exhasuting the other 3 Avengers: A) Victor Mancha B) Spider-Woman C) or Captain Marvel if you didn't already exhaust her.

What does everyone else do?

Captain Marvel Utilize her Defense build. 1) Armored Vest +1 DEF 2) Cosmic Flight + Captain Marvel's Helmet +2 DEF 3) Soaring Acrobatics Once have Aerial, for another +1 DEF For a total of 5 DEF, so that you can always use Unflappable to get another card draw. And with Energy Shield, your Energy resources to stop damage. Endurance for extra health.

Use her health powers by using an Energy resource to heal one and get a card draw. Use her Alter-Ego for a card draw. Use Alpha Flight Station to draw energy resources of better cards. her Energy Absorption triple Energy resources Heal here with Preservation. I've used this card to spend an Energy resource for Energy Shield, and then didn't lose any health and got a card draw. Her +4 recovery and combo with Down Time to get 6 recovery.

Her Avenger trait to use Quincarrier, to always have an extra Energy resource to keep Rogue healthy. Honorary Avenger for extra health.

Victor Mancha as an Avenger for Earth's Mightiest Heroes, and if needed use against minions that only attack for 1. Keep him out the whole game. Spider-Woman, get her out and you can use the third Energy Shield to stop her from dying and instead have Rogue use Spider-Woman as an alternate.

Pretty much you will, with all the cards, including Avengers Mansion, and all your card draw, have so many cards on the board, that you can easily drop down to Alter-Ego for more card draw and then come up and go wild with Rogue.

Summary: I had not used Rogue in a deck before, and haven't played with Captain Marvel since the early days. This deck was a great combo that takes advantage of Energy Shield and all the energy resources.

Have fun.
