"This deck is very confusing and puts Ghost GOAT Rider at the center of the action." ~D.M. Tip

The GOAT

Introducing a new supernatural ally hailing from the Spider-Ham universe: Johnny Graze, AKA Billy Bleatze, AKA the GOAT Rider! He's got a pretty serious spirit of vengeance, for a cartoon, and his skull never ceases to flame. Definitely NOT for the faint of heart.

The GOAT Rider can be more easily accessed and recurred through Chance Encounter, instead of cartoonish Healing Potions, but if strange liquids are more your jam, then slap 'em in here. So long as you use toon counters to fuel his confusing fiery chain whips, you'll be ridin' clean as fresh hay.

The Threat

This deck is meant to fill the 3/4 multiplayer role of dishing out fiery justice upon our non-cartoony enemies, though it will also perform well in 2-player. And so, we're packing a saddlebag of goodies to help.

The Pig

With a potential for 17 confuses on each deck cycle, I think we're pretty squared away. No need for the Professor or toy guns. Add the potential to stun every turn through Stealth Training, and we're cookin'.

And, while it pains me to say this, I don't think we need the GOAT to float. It's much more effective, typically, to give it to the player that is going to generate more attacks. So do that. Or not. Butterflies are dumb, anyway.

Most of Spider-Ham's kit will come in handy here, so use what you need, when you need it. Simple advice, I know, but it needs to be said. Don't forget to use what's in your saddlebags, because it has some utility to adjust your strategy as necessary.

  • Cruising into too many side schemes? Use Chance Encounter to find Spider-Man as often as possible.
  • Friends helping with status and nullifying your continual confuse spam? Focus more on recurring Cypher for the extra cards.
  • Main scheme getting out of control? Use stacked THW upgrades and Organic Webbing to multi-smack it in the kisser. POW! BAM!

And, there you have it. Is GOAT Rider good? Well, he's at least really metal, and at most, he's straight fire. And stuff. At least we can make good use of toon counters to feed his ability.

So, are willing to play a Spider-Ham deck without Web-Warrior allies? You might be the GOAT if you do.

Peace!

Sweet! Not overly powerful in large player counts, like I typically enjoy, but I think he's a beast in 1/2-player. Though, it can be difficult to make the juice worth the squeeze.
